Monster randomly spawns at Tower of the Damned Level 1. He is easy to find because of small location.
Gholash is located in act 3 and can be found in Tower of the Damned Level 1 location. In Diablo 3 present from 1.0.8 version and is Blazing Ghoul type of monster. On the same map are other unique monsters such as Fallen Shaman Fallen Firemage, Treasure Bandit, Hulking Phasebeast Haxxor (Wielder of Giant Axes), Fallen Hellhound Gnawbone (Ferocious Demon Hound), Succubus Demonika the Wicked (From the Heart of Hell). It is needed to acomplish achievements: A Unique Collection. It appears in the form of bounty called "Kill Gholash" in the location Tower of the Damned Level 1 in act 3. There are also other unique monsters of Blazing Ghoul type in the game - Lavarinth (Molten Defiler) in Rakkis Crossing location.

How to find Gholash in Diablo 3:

Start searching from Tower of the Damned Level 1 checkpoint and scour entire location. If he's not there return to town and start new game.
